On this trail, which is ideal for a day’s walk or a half-day’s run, you will encounter Istria in all of its forms, scents and colours. The 35 km long trail circles around the significant places of the area, starting and finishing in Kanfanar.From the cliffs of Lim, that hide an interesting attraction, we find the Romuald Cave. This trail along the bay continues further through Limska Draga, deep into the Istrian interior. Dvigrad was built on the hill, in one of the two narrowest parts of this valley. Its strategic position secured centuries of its longevity, and it was named after two cities - Monkaštel and Kaštel Parentino.We leave Dvigrad behind us, completely abandoned after the plague, and return to Kanfanar, at the starting point of this unforgettable trail.
